Mounds View, MN Kid Photographer { Matilda is ONE! }

Picking out my favorite pictures for this blog post was IMPOSSIBLE! I really just wanted to post every single picture. lol I have been photographing Matilda since she was in her mama's belly. It has been amazing to watch her grow. Not only did I think her mama is amazing, she must have thought the same thing about me because we have become really great friends over the past year. Emily came up with some fantastic ideas and paired with the location we chose I knew the pictures were going to be nothing but spectacular! One of my favorites is Matilda with the clothes line. Those dresses are just random dresses but they are the dresses that Matilda wore in her photoshoots with me. I love that! The trunk that she is sitting on is same trunk she slept on in her newborn shoot. This shoot is all about coming full circle with Matilda's 1st year! Of course we HAD to do another Chalk drawing with her too. Mom & Dad said we should have Matilda be a different letter every year! I love that!

Minneapolis, MN Kid & Family Photographer { Ben }

I met up with Ben & his family for his one year shoot. Those are always tricky because kids are teething & especially this time of year being cold season it can be hard on little kids. Ben was one of those little kids. Poor dude! He rocked his shot though. We just let him do his own thing, well mostly. If it were up to him he'd just sit around & eat all day. I don't blame him though. When I don't feel good I just want to sit around & eat all day too. He was a trooper though. He did however show his disgust for me as you can see in the second set of pictures. I couldn't help but add it. It makes me laugh! Happy 1st Birthday, Ben!!

New Brighton, MN Kids Photographer { Ellie is 1! }

Ellie is our contest winner from our "Funny Faces" contest I held a few months ago. He winning face was priceless, and cute, all at the same time. I haven't seen Ellie in 6 months. Her last shoot was quite tragic, at least that is what she would say if she could talk. She was very sad & shed quite a few tears. Even with that, she looked adorable. I was hoping this time around I'd get some smiles. She was shy at first & even with the insane heat we had, she flashed me her new teeth a few times! How cute is she?! Happy Birthday Ellie!!!
