Maple Grove, MN Tween Photographer { Camille }
2 years ago I met this little girl. She was just turning 9 & seriously one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen. I would have never guessed that her mom & I would become great friends & I would get to watch Camille grow into a young lady. This past weekend we did her 11 year pictures. She is having a girl day for her party. Shopping, Mani Pedis, a fancy lunch & a movie. Fun right? So we thought how fun it would be to take some pictures at the outdoor Mall in Maple Grove. Despite the crazy sun we had & all the people shopping we got some fantastic pictures. Thank you Minnesota for your insanely warm weather. Last year we did her 10 year pictures we had a massive snow storm. This year it was almost 80 degrees! Check out the last picture to see how much she has grown. I couldn't believe it until I actually saw the pictures side by side! Happy Birthday Cam!

Mounds View, MN Birthday Photographer { Karmindee is 4! }
I have decided that I am going to post a few more personal & fun things on the blog. So I am going to start that off with a blog post about my daughters 4th birthday party. Anyone who knows me personally knows that I love a good party. That is one reason I love photographing weddings so much. I love all the details that go into it. The planning, the creating and then all the fun!
Several months ago my daughter said to me she wanted a Bee Birthday Party. So I got to planning. I knew that black & yellow would be really easy colors to find & I could create some really cute decor with those colors. I also knew I wanted to do a candy bar. Who doesn't love candy? I also wanted to do Cakepops but that didn't happen so we did bee cupcakes instead.
Of course being a photographer I had to have pictures up. I was going to display a ton of black & white pictures above the candy bar. Pictures from the past 4 years. I then decided how cute would it be to do a big 4 with all the pictures. It came out perfect. I have a few left over to hang on the doors as decor as well.
Everything was homemade. I love the feel of homemade stuff plus I love to craft! Karie's adorable headband was made by Addielynns Bowtique and the cupcakes were made by my Mother in Law. Everything else I made myself.
So check out all the fun my daughter had on Sunday at her 4th birthday!
