I wanted to try something different & who best to test it out than my own kids. I really like how it all turned out & decided that I would use these as their Easter pictures. I don't want to torture them too many times with pictures in the same week. lol
If you like this style & want to incorporate something like this into your next shoot let me know! These are really a lot of fun & something totally different!

Mounds View, MN Birthday Photographer { Karmindee is 4! }
I have decided that I am going to post a few more personal & fun things on the blog. So I am going to start that off with a blog post about my daughters 4th birthday party. Anyone who knows me personally knows that I love a good party. That is one reason I love photographing weddings so much. I love all the details that go into it. The planning, the creating and then all the fun!
Several months ago my daughter said to me she wanted a Bee Birthday Party. So I got to planning. I knew that black & yellow would be really easy colors to find & I could create some really cute decor with those colors. I also knew I wanted to do a candy bar. Who doesn't love candy? I also wanted to do Cakepops but that didn't happen so we did bee cupcakes instead.
Of course being a photographer I had to have pictures up. I was going to display a ton of black & white pictures above the candy bar. Pictures from the past 4 years. I then decided how cute would it be to do a big 4 with all the pictures. It came out perfect. I have a few left over to hang on the doors as decor as well.
Everything was homemade. I love the feel of homemade stuff plus I love to craft! Karie's adorable headband was made by Addielynns Bowtique and the cupcakes were made by my Mother in Law. Everything else I made myself.
So check out all the fun my daughter had on Sunday at her 4th birthday!
