St. Paul, MN Newborn Photographer { Matilda 4 Days Old }

I have known Emily for quite some time now & have been waiting for this baby for a long time too! I knew Emily would be a great mom since she is a great step mom to Jared, her husbands sons. She is also pretty great with my kids when she would accompany us to The Children's Museum. Baby Matilda was a bit late. She wanted to hangout in there a bit longer & just get bigger. lol Her cheeks are killer. They are huge & just about the cutest things ever! I normally like to photography naked babies but Matilda's wardrobe is pretty amazing, along with her bedroom...and her parents! I am so excited to photograph her throughout the first year of her life since her mommy & daddy bought the first year package! I can't wait to watch her grow! Congrats Em & Ryan!!

 

St. Michael, MN Newborn Photographer { Cole 6 Days Old }

In May I did Audrey & Joel's maternity pictures. It was a blast. I felt like I was hanging out with old friends that I hadn't seen in a while. Audrey wasn't due until July but baby Cole had different plans. He came 3 weeks early at a healthy 7 lbs+ and a full head of dark hair like his mama! I was so excited to photograph him. Not only because I love newborns but because Audrey & Joel are awesome people! Cole was a DREAM to shoot! He never made a peep even with all the poking & moving he did with him. He is the most chill baby I have ever met! If someone could promise that my next baby would be like him, I'd get to working on #3 right now! lol Half the shoot I was actually working. The other half was spent laughing, telling stories & more laughing. I felt like I was in the company of great friends & those are the best kinds of shoots! Audrey & Joel make great parents...and Molly the puppy makes a great big sister!

Rarely do I get blog posts out so quickly after a shoot but I could barely make it in the door before I was uploading pictures last night! I had been looking forward to this shoot & even more excited at the location. I love old abandoned buildings, big fields of all grass and train tracks. If there was water there, it would probably be the coolest place ever. lol I was so excited that my fabulously pregnant friend Emily said I could pick the location for her maternity pictures. I knew this place would be prefect for her & her husband and it was. It was a blast. Emily rocked it through the dirty field, the train tracks & the massive amounts of broken glass all in heels...and 38 1/2 weeks pregnant! She is all belly & it is stretch mark free! Ladies feel free to be jealous! It was hard to pick my favorites. I would really like to post all of them, lol but I will just share a few...or 10 favorites! Congrats you too! I can not WAIT for Miss M to arrive. June 19th is a great day to have a baby. She will share it with a cool photographer that you love ;)
