Shaelyn & Nika

This morning I went to the Gurthrie to do a shoot with Shaelyn & Nika. Yes. The Guthrie again. I am pretty in love with that place. So let me tell you a little about Shaelyn & Nika. They are two adorable little girls. Their big brown eyes & adorable smiles just killed me. Shaelyn is a total ham. Her hand was always on her hip & she popped it like a pro. Oh it was cute! Then there is little Nika. Oh dear she just metled my heart. She would do these huge crazy smiles & would block me with her feet when I went to tickle her. Adorable. I can't wait until next year to shoot these girls outside. I can tell they will let loose & be wild!

Doyle - Family

Ashley, is yet again, another person that I went to High School with that my favorite social network, Facebook, has reconnected us. I got together with Ashley over the summer & did a shoot with her daughter Gabby. That girl is so adorable & I instantly feel in love with her. She is a cutie in the white dress on my header. I was thrilled when Ashely contacted me to do a family/newborn shoot when little Ryley arrived. They are such a good looking family! Perfect house, perfect yard....just down right perfect. Right out of a magazine. I love it. Little Ryley is just so cute. I just want to eat him up. I left with massive baby fever after this one & also 2 balloon animals that Miss Gabby made for my kids. Thanks Gabby! They loved them!

Kaleb - 9 Months

I really can't believe that little Kaleb is already 9 months! He is such a peanut. Big eyes & all smiles until I get behind the camera. Thankfully Daddy was behind me to get the smiles. Thanks Phillip! If it wasn't for him, we would have no smiles. I met with Heather, Phillip & little Kaleb at the Guthrie. Yup. Again. I just love this place. We had a great time. I always do with these 3. I love this age too. Kaleb has such a funny personality & REALLY likes to look at himself in the mirror. I couldn't stop laughing watching him look at himself. Made me wish I had a video camera. I can't believe that the next shoot I do with him he will be a year! Oh my!

Halle

Yesterday was a crazy busy day! 2 photoshoots & a last minute wedding! It started out with a photoshoot with Halle at the Guthrie in Minneapolis. I had a BLAST with Halle. She is a 5 year old little peanut with more sass in her pinky finger than most people have in their whole body. Every time I moved the camera to take a picture that girl would strike a pose. She was killing it! A head tilt here & a hand behind the head there. It was so cute! A perfect little model that I could have sat around & photographed all day long. I hope you had fun seeing the Wizard of Oz after!

Bonnie & Ryan - Engagement

This morning I met with Bonnie & Ryan. Bonnie is yet another gal that I went to high school with. Yay Facebook! lol We ran into each other at the Minnesota State Fair & chatted a bit about doing an engagement shoot & finally got to do it today. Let me start out by saying that in all my years of doing this job & the countless weddings I have been to, Bonnie & Ryan are darn near at the top of those couples who you can tell just LOVE each other. There is no way around it. You can't escape their love & they aren't afraid to show it. They are always looking at each other in awe & making each other laugh. They are insanely adorable together & a joy to photograph! We met downtown Minneapolis at the Guthrie. Such an amazing place to go & having Bonnie & Ryan there made it even better! I was so excited to start working on the pictures that I can home, grabbed a cup of coffee & went to work! Only a few hours later & I am here posting my edits already. Enjoy guys!

Ally & Kate

A couple of months ago I did a shoot for Miss Kate & Miss Ally. Ally was a crazy 2 year old & Kate was a tiny thing. Well, not much has changed except for Kate who has pretty much doubled in size! She is a huge chunker & oh so adorable. I fell in love with Ally today who lead me around the Como Conservatory showing me the fish & telling me that they were biting her. Her curls are to die for & I just couldn't get enough of her! Both these girls have killer eyes. Watch out mama! They are going to have men falling all over them!

Tyler

I met with Tyler & his mom to get some pictures of Tyler taken. He wanted some fun stuff done before he had to cut his hair. I had a blast with him. Such a down to earth normal kid. I swear you don't come by many of them these days. We went to some of my fave locations in down town St. Paul & rocked it! Tyler could totally get into modeling! Isn't he just adorable!?

Seth - 6 Months

Yesterday I met with Lisa, Dave & little Seth for his 6 month shoot. Lisa is another girl I went to high school with & we found each other on Facebook. Have I mentioned how much I love that site?

Seth is a little cutie. Such a peanut & full of smiles, well, all until I took out the camera. It was classic. Every time I took the camera away he would light up. I knew I had to be sneaky & I did manage to get a few smiles. He sure did make me work for my money! We did some shots inside & since it was so nice out we headed over to my favorite local park for a few more. Seth was in awe of the leaves & wanted to taste every one! It was adorable!

Shannon & Alex - Engagment

Several years ago I "met" Shannon online on a blogging site. She lived in a different state but we had lots in common so we became e-friends. She wound out moving here to MN & meeting her fiance Alex. I was honored when she asked me to photograph her wedding. I took Shannon & Alex to St. Anthony Main for their engagement pictures & had the blast. You can see the silly love these two have & their fun is contagious. I spent majority of the time laughing. I can't wait to photograph their wedding next year in Chicago.
